Get SnipVault for Mac

macOS 13 (Ventura) or later · Apple Silicon and Intel · 7-day free trial, no credit card.

  1. 1

Open the DMG and drag SnipVault to Applications.

It lives in your menu bar; there is no Dock icon.

  2. 2

    Grant Accessibility permission when asked.

SnipVault needs it to paste into the app you were in. It never logs keystrokes.

  3. 3

    Press ⇧⌘V.

Copy something first, then hit the shortcut over any app and press ⏎ to paste it back.

  4. 4

Try ⇧⌘2 on some text you can't select.

A video frame, a PDF scan, or a screenshot. The text is on your clipboard and in your vault.

Default shortcuts: ⇧⌘V palette · ⇧⌘2 OCR · ⌥⌘V paste stack · ⌘E emoji. All remappable in Settings.
